Deadlines to Apply: 

  • Summer- Intern packets must be submitted January 9 - February 28. (Students will report for duty beginning May thru August)
  • Fall/Winter- Intern packets must be submitted April 3- May 3. (Students will report for duty beginning August-December)
  • Spring- Intern packets must be submitted September 1- October 2. (Students will report for duty beginning January-April)

Snapshot of Internship: ATF Interns are generally assigned to criminal enforcement groups. This allows the intern to be exposed to many aspects of criminal investigations including intelligence gathering, report writing, operational planning, evidence processing, case management, and court appearances. Interns may also have opportunities to participate in training such as firearms qualifications.

Snapshot of Internship:

Constituents Services for a Congressman Grijalva involves learning about the federal laws and policies that affect constituents of Arizona District 7. Students will learn about various federal agencies, most commonly, U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services, Department of Veteran Affairs, Department of State, and the Social Security Administration.  Students are expected to work in our Tucson district office and handle 10-15 cases related to federal agencies. With supervision, students will contact the agency and provide responses to constituents. They will assist staff with constituent concerns, calls and inquiries. Interns will have close contact with congressional staff and Congressman Grijalva, assisting where needed. A monthly stipend is offered for fall, spring, and summer semesters
