Our school is a nationally recognized leader in higher education and is highly regarded for its distinguished faculty and research productivity. Our program is ranked no. 5 in the nation by U.S. News and World Report and our world-class faculty is engaged in cutting-edge research which prepares students for the challenges of criminal justice practice in the 21st century. Our online graduate program has been named by U.S. News and World Report as one of the top five degrees in the nation for three years running.

We are one of the highest rated programs at Arizona State University and conveniently located on the ASU Downtown Phoenix campus in the fifth largest city in the U.S. Our proximity to major criminal justice agencies enhances the opportunities for instruction, practice and student internship experience.

Mission

We strive to produce world-class criminological research and to maintain high-quality academic programs for undergraduate and graduate students by creating intellectual fusion through interdisciplinary approaches to major social issues; being socially embedded in our community to maximize our local impact as well as our national stature; and contributing to societal transformations in ways that facilitate greater well-being and enhance public safety.
