B.S. in criminology and criminal justice to launch in Tucson
Beginning in fall 2015, transfer students will have the opportunity to finish their undergraduate degree in criminology and criminal justice by seamlessly transfering community college credits to ASU's bachelor of science program.
All lower-division courses are articulated with Arizona community colleges, making it easy for students to transfer from Pima Community College and have substantial progress toward the completion of a degree in this field.
ASU's program in criminology and criminal justice is rooted in the study of the causes of crime and systemic responses to it. The core of the program focuses on the theories of criminality and evidence-based best practices for responding to crime through the lenses of three inter-related structures--policing, courts and corrections--which collectively comprise the criminal justice system.
The College has a long and successful record of education, service and community engagement in Tucson and Southern Arizona, including long-standing bachelor's and master's programs in social work.
