Faculty associate Jeffeory Hynes's book available online

Jeffeory G. Hynes, a longtime faculty associate and highly-awarded Phoenix Police Commander, can now add author to his long list of accomplishments.
Hynes’s book, The Impact of Higher Education: Perceptions of Police Officers, was published in August 20120 and now currently available for purchase online.
The 172-page-book addresses one of the issues of higher education in law enforcement and its overall impact on the law enforcement field. With over 32 years of service in the field as well as a doctorate, Hynes has first-hand knowledge. The main focus of the study was to examine how the effect changed across different ranks in the force.
The Law Enforcement Perception Educational Survey was used to identify and compare data obtained from individuals at various levels in the Phoenix Police Department. Hynes administered the survey to 140 officers from 35 different ranks.
